Welcome to Galloway. This stunning part of Scotland is just a few hours' drive from the M6 motorway at Carlisle,
yet it's a world away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Dumfries and Galloway is more than 2,800 square
miles of magical coastline, forests and, in the Newton Stewart area, mountains of over 2,000ft modestly known as the Galloway
Hills. We are also one of the world's few "Dark Skies Parks" which means, our stars and skies, are as breathtaking
as our panoramic countryside views!
For 2011, we are planning a couples dream resort accommodation. Being
such a romantic and fun loving couple ourselves, we are seeking to offer a truly unique, all year round, spectacular
holiday for couples. The Orangerie, has already been rated 5* and is a very unusual barn conversion.

The accommodation is situated close to our smokehouse at Bargrennan, but enjoys complete privacy from
the smokehouse itself.
Before your arrival, you'll be able to choose your favourite ambience and we will ensure
your pub has all you need to make your holiday truly unique, classical, jazz, rock or pop. You tell us your favourite music
tracks and we will fill your pub with your very own magic! Or bring your own cds - there is nothing nicer than sitting in
your hot tub under the stars, and listening to your favourite tracks via our outdoor terrace speakers!
You'll
even receive a welcome pack from Marrbury Smokehouse and be able to enjoy a free lunch voucher (when booking seven days) at
Marrbury Smokehouse at Carsluith Castle as well as a free tour of the Smokehouse itself.
Bicycles are welcome and
we can provide safe storage for you.
Smoking Policy: No smoking in conservatory suite. However, patio doors leading
to the private terrace provide a comfortable option for those wishing to smoke.
We have amazing forest walks nearby
including the beautiful Glentrool Forest Park and Loch Trool. By our home are various walks which are more "off the beaten
track". Our expert local knowledge will assist you in your choice of walks.
Although we are in the country, one
can access cities such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Carlisle and even Belfast by day trip!

Thinking of travelling abroad
this year? Think again! We are creating a truly magical experience here in beautiful Galloway. Be it a honeymoon, or relaxing
walking break. Perhaps you are more sporty, as well as mountain biking, archery and various country pursuits, we have hundreds
of golf courses nearby including the world famous Turnberry, a mere 25 miles drive away.
Needless to say, fishing is
our regions past time, and in certain months, it may even be possible to book a "Net & Coble" salmon fishing
day with Vincent himself!
And then of course, if all of that is not enough, you have your very own private
home pub to enjoy. If you have friends staying locally, you may invite up to four guests to join you in your bar until 11pm.
With a stunning oak bar, "The Pub" has been a favoured venue of the Marr family for many years now. Of course, you
will need to bring along your own bottles, but the authenticity of our pub, will make your holiday truly one to remember!
