September 23rd, 2010: Marrbury Smokehouse joins the
Facebook community. As part of the upgrading of this, our new website, Marrbury is now also featured on the social networking
site, Facebook. With more than 500 million active users in
July 2010, Facebook is a channel that is increasingly used by many businesses to promote their products and services. Comments Ruby Marr: "Our web developer, Great Value Websites, recommended that
we join the Facebook community as part of the revamp of our website and we are delighted that we will be able to reach so
many more people around the world to tell them about our special products and this wonderful area of Scotland in which we

May 5th, 2009: Despite the current economic climate,
both Ruby and Vincent thrive on a challenge and, as always, continue each year to add new and exciting facilities at Marrbury
Smokehouse.
This year, we installed new kitchen facilities at our Carsluith Castle outlet in Dumfries and Galloway
in order to offer our visitors our "Smoked N' Battered" chip-shop style take-away.
This quickly
proved a winner and the feedback received has been absolutely superb!
With items such as our fish suppers (a whole
steak of our award-winning lightly cured smoked salmon wrapped in chip-shop style batter) to sensational smoked organic pork
sausage suppers, every dish on our menu is taking our visitors by storm!
Customers can sit in and dine or
take away and even pre-order for a call-and-collect service, perfect if you are on holiday in the area or live nearby.
A whole new team of staff have joined us here at Carsluith, allowing us to open seven days a week.
December 6th, 2007: We at Marrbury had the great honour of being included on Andrew
Fairlie's new website. During our salmon fishing season this year, Andrew joined us to assist Vincent and I in a day's
catch. Photo-journalist David Gillanders has truly captured the essence of our salmon fishings.
