Marrbury Smokehouse at Carsluith Castle offers a wide range of luxury smoked Scottish foods. We have our very own smoked wild Cree salmon which has been caught and smoked by Vincent Marr personally, or perhaps our range of smoked poultry, cheese or game will tempt your palate. Hand made gravadlaxs’, chunky wedges of smoked peppered brie and delicacies such as smoked Kirkcudbright scallops are all on offer. No matter what you choose, you will discover a whole new range of mouth-watering foods which will surpass your utmost expectations.

browse around our shop, we stock a wide range of sauces and preserves,
cookery books, and a host of local tourist information. Our staff
have a great knowledge of the local area and can assist you in deciding “what to do” whilst
in Dumfries and Galloway. You will often find Ruby offering
an “impromptu” cookery demonstration and she is always
happy to help with cookery advice and 
recipe tips. Whatever the
