Great food to go, ideal if you're passing by!

In 2006, we introduced our healthy eating "Food 2 Go" bar where you can order delicious natural light bites to either take away or enjoy by dining outdoors in our "picnic" area in the Castle garden. For visitors passing through Galloway en route to the Irish ferry port at Loch Ryan, this is an ideal coffee stop. Many travellers have even been ordering their picnic of smoked salmon sandwiches to enjoy on the crossing! If you are in a hurry, you can always call us in advance and pre-order your lunchbox by calling 01671 820476 during shop hours. When visiting Marrbury at Carsluith Castle, not only do you find our delicious smokehouse foods, you also get to enjoy the benefits of free entry to Carsluith Castle. This beautiful tower house is open to visitors throughout the year. Climb the tower stairway and enjoy the magnificent views across the Solway Firth.
