Smokehouse can also enjoy free entry to Carsluith Castle with its spectacular views across Wigtown Bay.
The castle is an impressive 16th-century tower house. The main block is a keep of three storeys with a fine first
floor hall. The Castle has not been occupied since 1748.
On fine days, visitors can partake of
their meal outside in the grounds of Carsluith Castle and nearby, there is also plenty to see and do with a beautiful sandy
beach only a few miles away at Mossyard and the Galloway Forest Park just a short distance away too.
